This piece was originally performed at Webster Hall, NYC. The live performance includes a live reading of the above audio, while the film element is projected onto the speaker. The speaker’s costume is composed of a white t-shirt and American flag pattered jeans.

Decay Studies
Decay Studies (2018)
Decay Studies is a multimedia installation composed of the above video element on a continuous loop projected onto a grid of 28 printed canvases, some of which have been sculpturally modified. The soundtrack to the above plays on a continuous separate loop so that the repetitions of both find constantly changing accidental compositional alignments over the duration of the exhibition. The text of the printed element is a long-form meditation on the Zen concept of Mu; or the nothing which is everything. As a whole the piece attempts to dismantle both the sense of ego in relation to the artist, but also in relation to the environment on a local and global scale.
